Before comparing claims or prices, ask for the people, product, and pharmacy behind the offer. Clear answers make the rest easier.
Who decides?
- What is the clinician’s full name?
- Which California licence do they hold?
- Can I ask that clinician my own follow-up questions?
- What happens if online care is not enough?
What is the product?
- What is the medicine’s ingredient name (the generic name), not just its brand name?
- Is this an FDA-approved product or a compounded medicine?
- If it is made to order, what need does it meet that a ready-made medicine cannot?
- Will the label name the pharmacy that fills it?
Where does it come from?
- What is the pharmacy’s legal name?
- Does the California licence search show it?
- If it is an injection made to order, does the pharmacy hold California’s extra sterile-compounding licence for germ-free medicine?
- Who handles a problem with the shipment or medicine?
California keeps public licence records for clinicians and pharmacies.
